Art was a treasure. I had bad insomnia then. I always found his show reassuring...except when Father Martin was on. That scared me to death. I re-listened to the Father Martin interviews last summer, in the daylight and on the golf course. Still dark stuff.

I miss Art so much! George can be fun but he’s not the same. We even wrote a tribute song after he passed dedicated to his Open Line Fridays. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km56xFyrRq8

I only knew the George Noory era of Coast to Coast. I'll have to give Art Bell a listen. Also, I remember Brave New Books and Harlan from college! The first feature I wrote in J-school was about 9-11 truthers. I believe that Brave New Books hosted a meet-up spot for a local group, so I went there a couple times to check it out. I remember Harlan being very helpful and kind and explaining to 18-year-old me what a subpoena was, ha.

I remember it well. And miss him. Wonder what he would have thought of our world now.

His bumper music couldn't be beat. Lorena Babbit/Crystal Gale/all kinds of lovely musci. I slept with him on for over a decade. Still miss his show.

Noory? What a gasbag/doesn't listen to his guests, can't ask an intelligent question to save his soul.
